Infomax System Solutions and Services Co., Ltd (INFOMAX) was established in 1994. With over a decade of experience, INFOMAX has developed suite of products provide clienteles with competitive edge by implementing clienteles’ projects, acquiring appropriate technological solutions and maintaining the system to numerous banking and financial institutions including other financial related businesses.
- In 1994, INFOMAX, firstly originated in Thailand, had a part in setting up ATM Pool service (ATM Pool), including jointly technical set up the inter-bank system and inter-bank receiving and sending in consecutive years.
- In 1998, INFOMAX has been continuously working together with Bank of Thailand (BOT) and Processing Center Co., Ltd (PCC)1 for assisting in software implementation, migration plan and other technical support functions to member banks of BOT and PCC.
- In 2000, INFOMAX had worked closely with PCC to supportive establish Inter-bank Online Retail Fund Transfer (ORFT) service through ATM machines
- In 2005, INFOMAX had cooperated to set up Inter-Bank Transfer service (Inter-bank Transfer at bank branch’s counter). Moreover, INFOMAX has worked with PCC to initiate and implement Inter-National Linkage among member banks in Thailand and China Union Pay (CUP) and also has jointly studied and implemented Inter-National Linkage both online transaction and settlement system between banks in Thailand and banks in China.
Furthermore, INFOMAX has broaden several services to be an authorized distributor of Fidelity National Information Services, Inc. (FIS)2 providing outsourcing IT solutions, payment solutions, EFT software development, IST software solutions, including fraud detection focusing to the financial industries.
- In 2006, INFOMAX together with FIS have been trustfully assigned to implement a new national payment network to ITMX. In addition, INFOMAX had participated to initiate a guideline and a migration plan, along with migrating from existing system to new national payment system.
- In addition, INFOMAX has extended its services as a back office of Front-End ATM service to PCC’s member banks and other interested banks that prefer to employ effective cost-saving strategy when investing in its own ATM system has less comparative advantage. In term of software development, Infomax has more than 15 years of experience in developing and implementing Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) systems and electronic payment with PKI security design, named ‘ePay’, Single payment client application (SPC) and Bulk payment client application (BPC) respectively.
Also, Cybertrust3 is authorized INFOMAX as the Cybertrust’s representative in providing the commercial certificate management software.
In the approaching span, INFOMAX has planned to provide cheque solutions covering all aspects of transaction processing from item processing from item capture to image processing, management archival and delivery to prospective banking and financial institutes as per the payment system policy of Bank of Thailand in order to boost the usage of the electronic payment service and cheque imaging.
